Shiraz, Baghdad to Sign MOU on Cooperation
Mohammadhassan Asadi Mayor of Shiraz and Ammar Mousa Kadhim Mayor of Baghdad met at Shiraz City Hall on Tuesday 23 May 2023 to discuss issues of common interest and ways to establish and develop friendly cooperation in different areas of urban management.
The two sides agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on establishing cooperation between municipalities of Shiraz and Baghdad in the near future.
The delegation led by Ammar Mousa Kadhim visited Shiraz to attend the “2nd national Conference on Investment Development in Shiraz.”
During his sojourn in Shiraz, the high-ranking Iraqi official also visited the Holy Shrine of Shah Cheragh and paid tribute to the martyrs of the terrorist attacks by ISIS.
