Shirazi young artist wins the painting competition award in Turkey
The work of art of a kid from Shiraz received the high achievement award in the painting competition held in the sideline of the 16th World Conference of League of Historical Cities in Bursa, Turkey.
96 works were submitted to the international painting competition entitled “Colorful Touch To History.” The artwork by Dorsa Rouzbehi, a 12-year-old artist from Shiraz, shortlisted in the top 5 distinguished works of art.
The competition was organized to increase the awareness and knowledge of children about history in Bursa Turkey. The young artists in the 9-13 age range from 15 cities namely Ballarat, Kazan, Tainan, Budapest, Nara, Kyoto, Kashan, Wuxi, İstanbul, Samsun, İzmir, Konya, Bursa, Kütahya and Shiraz submitted their works to enter the competition. The jury reviewed 96 entries in total. 11 awards (5 for high achievement, 5 honorable mentions and 1 Jury Special award) were bestowed to the winners. An exhibition entitled “Colorful Touch to History” was held at art galleries of Tayyare Culture Center where all the entries to the competition were exhibited.
