Spring has arrived with its all beauty, attractions, wonders, and the scent of sour orange blossom has turned Shiraz again to an earthly heaven imbuing with the divine color and attributes as this year coincides with the spring of Quran.
This season attracts the pilgrims and tourists from all over the country and the world. We hope to be a perfect host to them.
In the past year, in addition to the sad and happy days, we experienced difficult times with the most challenging one being the terrorist attack to the holy shrine of Shah Cheragh. However, the solidarity and awareness of our fellow citizens showed again that enemies and tyrants learned they could not resist against the city and culture which is as old as the history, and finally such a philanthropy and peacefulness for which our beautiful city is well reputed will overcome them. In the past year, we tried to make an outstanding urban-civil development and flourish our beautiful city through making constant efforts and demonstrating solidarity among our colleagues at the Municipality.
 Surely, along this path, we need the contributions of our esteemed citizens.
It is hoped that we will provide good services to the esteemed people of Shiraz, the Third Haram of Ahlul Bayt in Iran and the cradle of Iranian-Islamic Culture, and bring happiness and merriment to their homes through the blessings of God and Imams.
